FAQs

So I thought I could answer some questions I get asked the most on this page just so you can find out a bit more about me!

What is your skin type?
My face skin type is really a combination. In the Summer it tends to be more oily but can become quite dry, and so currently I use a very rich moisturiser at night and a moisturiser aimed at oily skin in the mornings. I find doing this has really helped to keep my skin the way I am happy with it. Whereas in the Winter my skin stays mainly dry and so I tend to use much more moisture rich creams to keep my skin soft and healthy.
In terms of my body skin type, I suffer from really bad eczema. I had had it all my life and am prescribed steroid cream for times when it gets quite bad. However I find that if I moisturise after a shower or bath with something scent and chemical free, it does really help to keep my eczema much more manageable.

What is your skin tone?
I have yellowy/peach undertones to my skin especially in winter. At the moment I've just come back off holiday so my skin tone looks slightly warmer than it does in winter. I definitely feel like mine changes through the seasons.

What is your hair type?
Right now I think my hair is in a reasonably good condition. Previously I went through a stage of constantly changing hair colour and it caused my hair to be so brittle and damaged. One day I just decided it needed to stop and I haven't dyed it since probably before Christmas now. I also made the decision to have about 7 inches cut off to try and start fresh with healthier hair. I also used several different hair treatments and cut down on heat styling. If you want to know more about it let me know and I can do a full blog post about it.

What camera do you use?
I use two different cameras. The first is just my iPhone camera, because I tend to always carry it with me and I'm in no way a professional so the quality is just fine for me. My other camera was given to me by my boyfriend for my 19th birthday and I believe is a Samsung WB101 (I can't find the box right now, oops). As I said, I'm not a professional photographer but this makes me feel like one. It's absolutely brilliant!

How tall are you and what size clothing do you wear?
I think I'm around 5ft 7. I haven't actually measured myself in so long so that's based on comparing myself to other people who know their size! I usually buy size 8/10 clothes depending on what clothes they are and which shop I am in. Of course though, I buy clothes that are bigger if I want something cosy to cuddle up in. My feet can be size 6 or 7 again depending on the shoe and the shop. Why are these things never simple?
